The Urban Toddler

Man I love these kind of shoots! Downtown Denver has such a great feel to it and fantastic photo locations. We met up with Quinlan and his family down there on all days, the Scott Kelby Photowalk. We were surrounded by photographers, taking pictures of us taking pictures
. We’ve shot Quinlan twice now, it’s amazing how much they change in just 6 months. He started out a little slow, but picked up steam as the day went on. I think we got some great new looks and captured a little bit of Q’s personality on the way.

Tivonne Shoot

We finally got some urban senior shoots this year. I think I actually prefer these to the more standard leaves, trees and outdoors
. We actually managed to find some nature along the Platte river. Tivonne was a natural, such a beautiful smile…perfect teeth. I’m surprised she wasn’t one of our models when she walked in.

This has been a great senior season. We’ve had some pretty incredible students in for their shoots. They seem so much more mature and composed than when we were kids. It’s often hard to believe they are just graduating high school. We had more than our fair share of late photos this year, don’t wait so long next year seniors! We had to turn a few away.

Making the most of your photo session In order to get the best results, we recommend a few simple steps to help present you at your best.
General advice
- Don’t cut your hair the day before the shoot, wait a week.
- Bring outfits you like. Be comfortable
- Bring casual and more dressy outfits, same with shoes
- Dress in brighter colors, not white
- Bring your CDs or iPOD, we’ll play it
- Put on makeup before you arrive, we have a private dressing room to freshen up
- Be yourself, we’ll make you look your best!
- If you have a sample of styles or pictures you like, bring them along, we’ll use them for inspiration
- Don’t forget accessories, jewelry, watches, purses, stuffed animals
, etc
Family Portraits
- Dress in matching outfits.
- Make sure there is a common color, or just small amounts of color with black or white shirts, black or khaki pants
- Again, be comfortable and if you want several looks, bring some outfit changes
Seniors
- If you play an instrument or sport, bring your gear
- You have a cool car or bike, bring it along, we can shoot you with it too

What to Expect
Casual, casual, casual. Even though we take formal portraits, we want to make your photo session as natural as possible. We specialized in candid and unposed photography and want to capture you at your best today so you can look back at the memories a photo can bring back. And, although we mix in a few formal poses and looks, we really want to bring out who you and your family are through the photos.
Jay specializes in fashion and glamour shoots and he puts you into the scene just like a fashion magazine shoot. We have a lot of experience in emphasizing and bringing out the beauty and character of our clients. Claudia has a more casual and relaxed style for intimate, family or personal portraits
So bring your favorite music, outfits you look good in, your pets, favorite objects, sports equipment, cars, etc. If they are part of your life, important to you, we can work them in. Each session can last 1 to 3 hours depending on the type of session you book. They can be indoor and outdoor…location shoots are our favorites. We have hundreds of locations throughout Denver. At the end of the shoot, we provide a CD of all web-sized images with unlimited electronic distribution rights.
We also provide an electronic portfolio of your photoshoot to review in the convenience of your home. Frends and family can view too and anyone you allow to can order prints electronically. We’ll work with you to pick the right finish for your final, selected photos. Our photoshop finishes take a fantastic photo and turn it into a family treasure.
